Back to Bourke for Support Changeover
All day in Bourke. Satellite contact with the school of the air kids. It is called Distance Education nowdays. Washing, catching up on e-mails, more repairs etc. The discussion with the kids was fascinating. The questions were all very intelligent and I loved it. A special thanks to Nina Macleod who I think shares similar ideals on the importance of science. She was a great help in taking me through the experience. Also thanks to the boss Ron, Margaret, Greg, Liz and the special pecan cake maker Loretta.
These photos are of the wheel system on the kayak for all of those peole who have asked for details. It is quite an expensive and time consuming operation although the wheels are standard cheap stuff available most places (or take them off a cheap trolley). The bearings are replaced with fully sealed bearings though.
